Norwich Ave Building Fire

September 12, 2008 - At 04:50hrs, Taftville was dispatched to a reported structure fire
with people trapped at 77 Norwich Ave.  Deputy Chief Dupuis arrived and discovered a fire
on the 1st flr of a 2.5 stry multi-family home.  20 firefighters from Taftville responded and
quickly performed fire suppression, primary search, ventilation and other critical functions
to confine the fire to the room and apartment of origin.  No one was injuried and the
Norwich FMO is investigating.
