Motorcyclistist injuried after hitting car

August 24, 2009 - At 13:06hrs the Taftville Fire Dept, American ambulance and Norwich PD were
dispatched to Harland Rd for a motorcycle accident.  Units arrived on scene and found a motorcycle had hit
that back of the car at a high-rate of speed.  The cyclists was treatment by the Fire and EMS for serious,
non-life threatening injuries.  The accident occurred in a construction area. Per Norwich PD the motorcycle
left 175ft of skid marks prior to the accident.  The accident is still under investigation by Norwich PD
