| Rear Porch fire at Norwich Ave Apartment building March 24, 2007 - At 2352hrs Taftville was dispatched to a house fire on Norwich Ave. Car-20 arrived to find smoke pouring from the rear of a 3 stry wd apartment building. An upgrade to the alarm assignment brought Occum and the Yantic FAST. While performing a primarty search the tower crew and Asst. Chief Labrecque found a smouldering fire on the 2nd flr rear porch. The fire was knocked down with a water can while 21's crew was stretching a handline. All occupants were accounted for. The Norwich FMO is investigating |
